The Weir was a production at Wyndham's Theatre by Conor McPherson and produced by Playful productions.

 

Set in a rural Irish pub where 5 characters share their ghost stories. As well as the tales they form a bond together by common loneliness and drink.

 

Due to being set in an Irish pub my thinking was to use a similar colour, composition as a famous Irish drink and place a haunting figure of the girl mentioned in the ghost stories told within the water. Both images of the water and girl are royalty free and from separate stock library sites but once artworked together worked perfectly. I chose a serif font to give a more sinister feel to the title treatment.
